- A song from her second album “Ek mis jou vanaand” (I miss you tonight) reached number one on East Rand Stereo and Radio Rippel SA hit parade
- She was a guest actress on TV series “Sonkring” and “Binnelanders”
- She sang live on Steve Hofmeyr’s TV programme on Kyknet “Dis hoe dit is”
- She can be seen as one of the actors in the new “Snotkop” Music Video was released on MK89 in October 2008

- Her first album, “Hou my vas” (Hold Me), was distributed via Gallo Music. “Kwaito Sprokie (kwaito fairytale)” made it to number one on East Rand Stereo and the ballade “Ure (hours)” is played regularly on RSG (Radio Sonder Grense).
- “Ek mis jou vanaand’ (I miss you tonight) from her second album “Rowwe Diamant” made it to number one on the SA hit charts on Radio Rippel and East Rand Stereo
- Her dance track “Boeremeisies Rule” was released on Juanita Du Plessis ‘Skud Skud” Dance Compilation CD (more than 20 000 units sold) and Rapport/Emi’s “Ons praat jou taal 4” (more than 20 000 units sold)
- The music video of “Boeremeisies Rule” currently has achieved over 150 000 unique views on youtube.com!
- Her “Rowwe Diamant” music video is currently on the “Boeremusiek vang spoed” DVD that is distributed nationally via Leo Music. The music video of “Rowwe Diamant” is currently being played regulary on Kyknet. (Mnet Dstv)

- Rea sang live on TV during a rugby match with the “Eagles” dancers for a rugby match of the Lion’s versus the Eagles, broadcasted live for Super Sport 1 from the Brakpan Stadium
- Rea is the only Afrikaans female artist who has been interviewed by international news giant Reuters TV, as she was the first Afrikaans speaking female artist in the history of SA music who sang in Afrikaans while collaborating with kwaito artists. This interview was broadcast throughout Europe.
- As a singer she has shared the stage with top SA performers like, Gé Korsten (at the age of 3 years) Watershed, Vicky Sampson, Jacques de Coning, Anke (Pop Idols), Shine 4, Nicholis Louw, Bobby Angel, Lance James, Deon van der Merwe, Ronell Erasmus, Alan Ladd, Anton Botha, Jakkie Louw, Adam Tas, Cindy Claassens, Rudi Claase en Robbie Klay (Dream Model SA Competition) and Armand Hofmeyr (Steve Hofmeyr’s son)
- Rea has also toured with popular Afrikaans rock band “Beeskraal”
- Rea performed with Kurt Darren at Birchwood Hotel, East Rand on 19 December 2008
In 2009 she has started an artist development school and is currently on tour with the son of Steve Hofmeyr, Armand Hofmeyr – whom she has taken under her wing

Rea’s mother was an opera singer and her dad is a Master Drama Lecturer at the University of Pretoria. She has been on stage since she was 3 years old, where she played the part of “Little Trouble” in the opera “Madame Butterfly” with SA legend Gé Korsten.
Rea was also chosen as the main actress for a “Bradlows” TV commercial
Her voice was chosen to sing the solo for the new Dulux “Luxury” product range TV Commercial
Rea was also chosen as the voice over artist to give feedback on the top swimming highlights of Beijing 2008 for MMnet’s Super Swimmer TV program.
She was also seen on Kyknet’s new TV prgoramme about “Scrapbooking”, called “Fotostories” in October 2008
She sang, danced and acted with some of SA’s top dancers and actors in the new Vodacom Summer TV ad – look out for this glorious ad based on the movie “Grease” in November 2008!

- She was MC on Saturday 02 August 2008, for the “7de Laan Shorite Checkers” Region Finals for the 7de Laan Shoprite Checkers Boerewors Competition for the Centurion area
- She was also the MC for the “Klipdrift Battle of the Bands” semi finals at Carnival City
